A Cashmere Scarf, Covered in Block Lettering

By Renée Batchelor

The monogram has become rather ubiquitous in fashion collections the past few seasons, but its presence on a scarf can be jaunty and even refreshing. For the house of Burberry, its logo is rendered in black, block lettering emblazoned on the one side of a camel-coloured, double-faced cashmere scarf. Flip it over for brand’s classic oversized check pattern. Behind the modernity of this scarf is a quality cashmere heritage — Burberry’s cashmere is crafted at a 200-year-old mill in the Scottish countryside, and woven on traditional looms.
